One mile cross country/trail race for kids, on wooded trails surrounding the soccer complex.

XTreme 12k
Race Start: 9:00 AM
Xtremely rugged 12K trail course traversing hills, log jumps, creek crossings, mud and switchbacks over single track mountain bike trails. Runners will get get wet and muddy and shoes have been lost on the course. (Course may be altered if course conditions dictate)

Proceeds from the event benefit Gabriel’s Horn (a Women’s Shelter) and Outback Trail Commission (builds and maintains Outback Trail)
Cookout
Memorial Day cookout after the race provided by Gabriel’s horn including
Pizza Hut pizzas provided by the Hobart/New Chicago Pizza Hut.

Back for 2013
The IUN SPEA Police/Fire individual and Team Challenge. Police and Firefighters can participate as an individual, or with two or more runners they may also participate as a team. IUN SPEA will recognize the top three teams and individuals with special awards. Find out which department will have individual and team bragging rights for being the most Xtreme and fastest in the Midwest!
